More depth and color, please.

This homeowner in zone 7b had existing shrubs, but he wanted to add more depth and color.

The homeowner started with lemon lime nandinas and a couple of empty beds where rosebushes and liriope were removed.
I suggested some small evergreens across to create cohesiveness. Then I went in and added perennial color and contrast for depth and interest.
